ABOUT THIS CD:
Sigur Ros is an Icelandic post-rock band with melodic, classical, and minimalist elements. This single was released in May 2003, following the October 2002 release of their third full-length album, ( ); it contains the first track from the album along with three short non-LP tracks, all of which are officially untitled (although the first track was later revealed to be called "Vaka" on the band's web site). During the band's spring 2003 tour, the band often closed their set with tracks 2 and 3 from this single, calling the two songs "Smáskífa" on their setlists. Track 2 was originally meant to be a remix of "Vaka", but it turned into a different song altogether. Track 3 features a piano solo by drummer Orri Páll Dýrason.

CONDITION:
Disc: very good; has a couple of light scratches, but plays flawlessly.
Digipak: very good; shows very light shelf wear.
