1989 RICHARD MAURIZIO TOM & JERRY DAILY COMIC STRIP ART

Description:

This is a fantastic original piece of comic strip art by the famed children's book artist, Richard Maurizio.   Tom and Jerry was conceived by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera in 1940.  They created cartoons for Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer until 1957, when the animation unit was shut down.  Richard Maurizio has credits for drawing Godzilla, Mister Magoo, Underdog, Scooby Doo, and Looney Tunes.

This comic strip is dated 2/18/89.  It features Tom and Jerry, along with a rare appearance by Miss Mammy Two Shoes.  She is the housemaid who, over the years, has been modifed or withheld from broadcast.

Condition:  Fine, with some clear tape on the back, no rips or holes.

This is a nice piece of original comic strip art from the ever popular Tom and Jerry series.  An innocent game of darts between Tom and Jerry goes badly for Tom in this spectacular comic strip!
