This is a great showpiece, made in Bronze, then hand painted and finished by hand by the famous artist Jim Ponter  for the Franklin Mint. General Robert E. Lee on horseback. Stands about 14 1/2 " tall, and is mount on a hard wood base. The item is in good condition with a few small marks on the wood.
