Antique 1912 TITANIC Ship Liner BOOK & SHEET MUSIC

Hi, and welcome to our ebay site.  Though our transaction numbers are low, my partner and I have both sold extensively on ebay in the past.  We've decided to 'reactivate' due to some incredible items that have come in from consignors in the last few weeks.  Our business is selling antiques for consignors, and combined we have over 45 years experience in antique sales.  PLEASE be sure to review our auction conditions as they appear below.  We've been as honest as possible in preparing these -- our intent is to provide the best possible service to our buyers, but we do have other life/business responsibilities that will influence our ebay involvement.  If you are uncomfortable with any of the conditions (PARTICULARLY SHIPPING DETAILS/TIMEFRAMES FOR U.S. AND INTERNATIONAL), please think twice before participating in our auctions.  Thanks!

This auction is for 3 publications relating the famous saga of the sinking of the ocean liner the TITANIC -- a 1912 FIRST EDITION of the book 'THE SINKING OF THE TITANIC AND GREAT SEAS DISASTERS -- THRILLING STORIES OF SURVIVORS WITH PHOTOGRAPHS & SKETCHES;  a 1912 piece of SHEET MUSIC entitled 'JUST AS THE SHIP WENT DOWN';  and -- as kind of a bonus -- a great 1987 publication exploring 'THE DISCOVERY OF THE TITANIC'. 

The 1912 publication is hard cover -- the binding is tight, and the cover is intact -- but has some fraying around the edges -- the pages are a little yellowed.  The 1912 sheet music is complete, with a nice visual on front -- would look good framed.  The 1987 book goes into wonderful detail, with ALOT of illustrations, maps and photos relating to the discovery of the liner.  So if you're a history buff, or enjoy studying ocean liners/ships, or just someone (like me) who is continually fascinated by the story of the Titanic -- a nice little collection!   Thanks for looking -- have a great week.

AUCTION CONDITIONS

SHIPPING:  This is an important one!  We will ship within 3 to 10 days of confirmed payment.  Usually, it will be closer to the 3 days, but there will be times when it may take up to the 10 business days to get a package off.  We have other responsibilities besides ebay, and sometimes they must take precedent (e.g. -- when we're setting up/conducting an estate sale).  We usually ship via USPS parcel post, as that is the most reasonable cost-effective route for our clients.  The PO states that it will take 2 - 9 days for delivery when using parcel post.  In other words -- it might be awhile before you see your package/item following payment.  IF YOU ARE UNCOMFORTABLE WITH THIS, PLEASE CAREFULLY CONSIDER WHETHER OR NOT YOU CHOOSE TO PARTICIPATE IN OUR AUCTIONS.  ALL packages will be shipped with the PO's 'Delivery Confirmation', and that cost of 80 cents already is folded into the quoted shipping cost for this auction.  Delivery Confirmation provides a number should anything happen to the parcel en route, and it ensures additional consideration by the PO.  Delivery Confirmation does NOT provide a tracking number so you can follow the progress of your shipment.  The ONLY way to get that number is to add insurance.  INSURANCE: If you would like to add insurance for your purchase, please send us an email requesting that as soon as possible after the auction closes.  We will not send the ebay invoice until 12 to 24 hours after auction close, so that gives you time to make the request.   INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:  Sorry, but we just cannot provide shipping estimates for overseas sales.  It takes a great deal of time, and since the internet estimate site estimates are almost always off, usually the buyer or us end up paying more.  WE DO CHARGE EXACT SHIPPING TO YOUR INTERNATIONAL ADDRESS ONLY -- NO ADDITIONAL FEES OR CHARGES.  When the auction ends, we pack the piece, bring it to the U.S. Post Office to get the EXACT (and cheapest, unless our client requests otherwise) shipping cost, and then send the buyer the ebay invoice with that amount included.  SHIPPING DISCOUNTS:  We'll always offer a discount for multiple purchases -- the amount depends on whether or not the items can be safely shipped together.   PAYMENT:  We're flex too, and payment within 7 days of purchase date is just fine.  If you need additional considerations -- let us know well before the auction closes.  Prompt payment will -- of course -- translate to more expedient shipping (our 3 - 10 day period starts when payment is confirmed).  But if you're in no rush -- neither are we.

Hi:  Just realized I forgot to include the dimensions of this piece.  The piece as a unit measures 4 3/4" high.  The base is 6 1/2" wide (front), and 6 1/2" deep.  Thanks!!
