Being offered for your consideration is a beautiful framed Japanese painting on silk with an overall measurement of 9” by 16 ½”; the cut out for the painting is 4 ¾” by 12 ¼”. The painting is of a young man dressed in a kimono with beautiful and subtle color and design with gold accents. The painting although unsigned is done by a talented and fine artist. The painting is in good condition; there is some wear to the wood frame. The label on the reverse indicates the painting was brought to the US around 1920.
White spots are light reflection.
