This is an accessory item that goes to a Kodak Carousel slide projector. This is called a "Stack Loader" and it is designed to mount on the top of the projector. This is used in situations where you just want to load and view a stack of slides without going through the hassle of inserting them into a carousel reel. This is a good way to go about previewing your slides before organizing them into a reel. This appears to be a new old stock item that was never used. It comes complete in its original box with instruction booklet. I've seen many of the projectors, but this is the first loader I've come across.
