This auction is for the Lake Speed #9 Cartoon Network (Droopy – “Happy Birthday”) 1998 Ford Taurus. The car is part of the Action 1:64th scale Hood-Open Series (C649801093-1), and was only available through RCCA limited to 3,500. The car features an opening hood, real rubber tires, detailed interior and chassis. The car was stored in a dry clean place, never displayed and is in mint condition in its original package.


The car is a replica of the car driven by Lake Speed during the 1998 NASCAR Winston Cup racing series at The Winston at Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, NC (May 16, 1998). The special paint scheme was designed to celebrate NASCAR’s 50th “Birthday”, and is the second in a series for the 1998 NASCAR Winston Cup season.
