I would tie these thin strands around my pencil and create a wonderful illusion of the pencil levitating around me; this would generate dumbfounded looks from my classmates sitting near by. As you can see, I must had obviously suffered from ADD or ADHD or something similar, but this would eventually lead me to creating one of the most devastating tools to ever be unleashed on the Magic Community at large, only 11 short years later. While at the time I had the idea for a wonderful little device that would spool out and take up this amazing thread, I had yet to find a thread that I could get in bulk and that would be of the proper strength and invisibility, never mind the very space age material that is the elastic that powers this most astonishing device and my best friend was not about to become my personal IT farm!
