Description : Up for auction is this absolutely lovely 16" porcelain doll. She is part of the "First Lady Series" by Brinn. This is Jane Irwin Findlay. Ms. Findlay was never a first lady. She was the aunt of President William Henry Harrison's daughter-in-law. The President's wife, never came to Washington during Harrison's brief stint as President. The Harrison's daughter-in-law was the official White House hostess; and her aunt, Jane Irwin Findlay was with her in the White House. The doll was made in 1988 and is in mint condition, never used or played with. Her dress is a rich deep burgundy velvet. She comes in her original box. Great for your collection or for a special young lady.
