Primitive FarmhouseRaw Cotton Christmas Tree Ornaments

We grew some cotton several years back, just because we are Yankees who relocated to the South in 1990, and were intrigued with all the things you could grow in a different gardening zone. Actually before the plant produces the cotton bolls, it has a really pretty, delicate flower. It was such fun to grow and harvest! Anyway, I've had these lying around and thought they would make unusual, naturally rustic old-timey Christmas tree ornaments.

Keeping it simple, I adhered a twine bow to the top and then sewed the hanger to it. The hanger is YLI 100 % nylon Wonder Invisible Thread. This is similar to fishing line, only not as thick.

This auction is for a set of eleven (11). Wish I'd had another one to make it an even dozen, but this is all I have.

Not taking exact measurements of each, they are approximately 2" x 2 & 1/2" in size.
