 Up for auction is a 7" L x 4" W replica of the Republic Acclamator Assault Ship. I normally build models from either kits or from scratch but in this auction I am offering something a little different. This display started out as a toy that I decided to redo with more detail and a different paint scheme. I first removed all the toy-like features and replaced them with scratch built additions. Once I finished the modifications I then repainted the entire thing in the paint scheme of the Republic as seen in the Clone Wars series. I didn't want the finished ship to appear fresh out of the shipyard but wanted it to look like a ship that had seen it's fair share of enemy engagements so to finish it off I weathered the ship with pastels and added some subtle battle damage in areas.
