"Call Waiting (Charlie Brown)" by Tom Everhart. 38 inches long X 31 inches high, in its original black wood frame from the Jack Gallery, in Las Vegas. Limited Edition, Signed and Numbered: 89/500. Condition: Excellent. This is a fine art lithograph printed at S2 Editions, Ltd Atelier, in 2000, under the supervision of master printer Raymond Mazza. The image was created originally by Tom Everhart as a painting on paper. The artist then collaborated with chromist Jean Pierre Remond who drew by hand the 10 separate plates from which this edition was pulled. Proofs were approved by Everhart, after which the edition was pulled, one color at a time on an antique French Maronini Voirib flat bed press. The artist personally signed each lithograph in pen in the lower right-hand corner. The plates used to create this edition were destroyed after the edition was pulled. Tom Everhart met Peanuts creator Charles Schultz in his studio, in 1980, and later became the only artist authorized by Schultz to paint the Peanuts characters. Everhart studied Schultz's pen line style and relied on his pointers, critiques, thoughts and private techniques while developing his own unique interpretation of the Peanuts gang.
