This is a used can sealer. It is circa 1986. There is age wear to the aluminum, that is to be expected for a used unit . There is a area on the shaft that is 1 1/2 in long that has a worn spot, looks like someone filed into it about 1/8 in. We are showing this in a close up and does not effect the unit. We are not experts but checking it out, everything turns and moves like it is supposed to. The spring is in great condition, it probably needs oiling as it was in storage. Look at our photos, what you see is what you get. The table clamp is included, a washer, a master seam gauge, instructions and parts list. Know what you need before bidding! No 2 chuck is for pints 3 7/16 by 4 11/16 2 1/2 cups or 30 oz. No 2 1/2 chuck is for 30 ounce , 4 1/16 by 1 11/16 or 3 1/2 cups. This is untested on actual cans and we do not have the cans and lids to test it so this is a as-found auction. Master Hand Crank Can Sealers are designed for use by Commercial Canners, Custom Canners, School Canneries, Lunch Rooms, Experimental Laboratories, Gift Packaging Centers, and Home Canners. No skill or experience is required to perfectly seal tin cans automatically. This has 2 size chucks for different size cans, one says it is a No 2 1/2 the other is a No 2. Crank length is 8 1/2 in. Powered by flywheel for smooth operation. Made in USA. These presently retail for $400-$600.

Shipping is based on the 15 lb rate in an oversized box.
