Every baby from Silver Cloud Nursery is made with my heart and soul. My goal is to create the most wonderfully realistic baby that I can. I try and capture the true essence of babies from newborns to toddlerhood, giving each their own individuality and "personality". Just like real babies, no two of my reborns are exactly the same. I have been a reborn artist for over 5 years. I use only the highest quality products in their creation, sparing no expense in the process. All photos were taken in different lighting conditions throughout the day. Some of the photos were taken outside and others inside with window light. The shorter days allow less time for photo sessions so some of the pictures are darker due to the lack of sunlight. Please be patient while the photos load.

Aslynn was created from a Lee Middleton doll sculpted by one of my favorite artists, Reva Schick. This particular sculpt is one of my all time favorites. She is getting harder and harder to find so it will be very hard to let her go. I just love the sweet expression on this sweet baby's face.
Aslynn was painted with Genesis paints. These paints are non-toxic and will not fade or rub off over time. They are pemanently set with heat so they have a finish that will last for many years to come. These paints are wonderful because they allow you to build multiple layers of transluscent color to create a perfect "living" skin appearance. Aslynn has a beautiful peaches and cream complexion with a very subtle blotchiness to her little cheeks. Her complexion is like that of a baby only a few months old. I tried to include close ups so you can see some of the details that were added to make her into this sweet, realistic baby girl.
Aslynn's hair was micro-rooted with a 42 guage needle one hair at a time. She has a gorgeous head of pale-blonde, baby-fine hair. Her hair was very sparsley rooted to give the appearance of a peach fuzz look. There are some very light and finely painted "under hairs at her temples and top of her forehead. Her hair was sealed on the inside of her head with a water-proof adhesive so it can be dampened and gently styled. It can be combed straight or styled with a curl on top.
I have given Aslynn soft, wispy upper lashes in the shade of light brown, which is a bit darker than her hair color to bring out her gorgeous gray/blue eyes. She has barely-there eyebrows that were hand-painted in single strokes to match her hair color.
Aslynn has a custom-made, wonderfully soft and snuggly, doe-suede body from Bountiful Baby. The legs and arms are jointed at the hips and shoulders so they can be posed and moved freely into many different positions. Her limbs have a nice "curl" to them, making her absolutely the cuddliest little girl. Her torso is weighted with plastic pellets that are contained in nylon bags and surrounded by silky soft poly-fil. Her limbs are also weighted with plastic poly-pellets and poly-fil. She feels so real when you pick her up, just like a real baby. This little sweetie was made extra cuddly and "floppy" so she falls into the cutest positions. She is squishy to the feel and was purposely under-stuffed. Her little head will need to be supported as a real baby's would. I use only clean, new materials in my reborns. I just love the chunky baby limbs that Reva creates. Just look at those cute little rolls.
Aslynn has the most beautiful blue/gray eyes. I have tried several brands of eyes (including glass eyes) and have found that these are the most realistic. The color is like that of many young babies...blue with a hint of gray. They match her pale blonde hair beautifully. They were glossed to give the appearance of a "living" eye. I just love they way they sparkle. :0)
Aslynn's little finger and toenail beds have been tinted, tipped and sealed for a realistic, just clipped appearance. Her sweet baby mouth has a bit of gloss applied for a moist appearance. She will come home with her magnetic pacifier. The pacifiers contain very strong earth magnets and caution must be used around people with pacemakers or sensative electronic equipment. Magnets can be removed at the request of the winning bidder.

My reborns are packaged extremely well to make sure they arrive to your home safely. I charge actual shipping charges. If for some reason I over-charge you I will gladly reimburse the difference to your Paypal Account. I do not charge a handling fee.
I ship Priority Mail/Insured for US customers and Global Express for my international customers. Global Express may be more costly, but the reborn can be tracked and insured. Please note....once your baby reaches customs you may be required to pay additional fees to them. It is your responsibility to find out if there are customs charges in your country.
