Content
Joan is peasant girl in the 15th Century in France. Fiercely believing that she is directed by God. Joan triumphantly leads an army into battle against the British, who are driven from France. A new king, Charles VII, is crowned in France. Yet, as Joan's influence grows, the king becomes increasingly wary of her power and ultimately betrays her to her death and martyrdom.....
