Being offered on this auction is a large vase made by Rosenthal China, Selb, Bavaria, Germany. It is of famous now German Op-Art line. German artist Elvira Bach (b. 1951) designed this vase in her ever-popular ‘To Be A Woman’ series. Elvira Bach is one of the most important artists from the "Young Wild" era. Her pictures are centered on vehement impact of heroes, often larger than life-sized, gaudy pictures of women. She has painted orgies in pink and orange on canvas with giant brushes. Today she is world-renowned artist. Bach worked for Rosenthal since 1992. She created the artist jug ‘Giftschlange’ (99 pieces) and few of ‘Vasenobjekt’ (75 pieces) for the limited art edition. Vase on this auction is from Rosenthal ‘Art Collection #3’. It is marked on the backside with standard Rosenthal Limited Edition logo in green. Other marking is artist name and signature as well as collection title. There is also number 29 on the backside, which indicates 29^th from 75.

Vase measures about 5 ¾” in diameter and stands 8 ½” tall. Condition is immaculate with no cracks or chips found. Colors are bright and vibrant. This porcelain is thick and heavy.
