This is an auction for a rifle stock.I took it to a local gunshop and the armer said it looked like it would fit a large bore,probably magnum round sized barrel.Additionally,said that it had factory drillings for a barrel bracket and further said possibly a Winchester .337 from the 1940's to 1960's,and that the wood had it's original finish and was in great shape. Put it back into use!The total length is 30 1/2 inches (apprx.)There is a stamped number in the wood on the bottom which would be covered by the hardware which looks like 1189.The weight is 1 pound,14 oz.The measurements between drilled holes are:base of gun butt,3 in.Bottom of stock-2 farthest from front and rear,17 1/2 inches.2 forward holes on front of stock,4 1/2 inches.2 holes for the action hardware,7 1/2 inches.I measured these from as close the center of the holes as possible.There are some surface scratches all over it,but no cracks.Any questions I'll awnser to the best of my knowledge.Thanks for looking!
