Edited and published by Steve Kristiansen, Bulldog is “The Fanzine for Comic Strip Collectors."

 

Issue #1 features classified ads from Murray Moore, The Cartoon Museum, Yellow Press, and others. 16 pgs. March, 1973.

 

Issue #5 features: The Evolution of Steve Canyon by Shel Dorf; a Steve Canyon checklist; Keep on Strippin’ by Tom Mason; Syndicate Teletype by Sean Warren; and classified comic strip ads. Cover art by Milton Caniff. Cover design by Shel Dorf. Includes inside cover art and “best wishes” note by Caniff. 28 pgs. April, 1974. 

 

These fanzines are flat, clean, and in excellent condition. Both are addressed on the back to Larry Herndon.
