LINDA RONSTADT "LIVING IN THE USA" ASYLUM (ELEKTRA) RECORDS 1978 Gatefold LP ALBUM Original Issue - CATALOG # E-155 Linda Ronstadt (born July 15, 1946) is an American popular music vocalist and entertainer. Her many vocal styles in a variety of genres have resonated with the general public over the course of her four-decade career. As a result, she has earned multiple Grammy Awards, two Academy of Country Music awards, an Emmy Award, an ALMA Award, numerous United States and internationally certified gold, platinum and multiplatinum albums, in addition to Tony Award and Golden Globe nominations. Living In The USA is a 1978 album by American singer/songwriter/producer Linda Ronstadt. The album was Ronstadt's third No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart and was the first album in history to ship Double Platinum. As a measure of her impact on popular culture in this time period, the front cover photograph of a roller skating Linda in a satin exercise outfit was noted to increase the popularity of skating, in the U.S., at the time. It was Ronstadt's sixth consecutive million-selling Platinum album. It was certified by the RIAA for 2 million copies sold in the US alone and has estimated real sales of 3 million US units sold. This is shiny, bright and looks nearly new.INNER SLEEVE - Generic white paper sleeve in Very Good Condition. COVER - VERY GOOD CONDITION - This is a Gatefold Cover with very minimal wear on the top and bottom corners. It has a small amount of ringwear, more evident on the back cover than on the front, but still very slight. Has two small bumps on the front as though it had rested against something - but again, very small and slight and did not affect the vinyl.
