Why need a Hard Drive?

For repeat duplication of the same DVD, just simply load the master disc's files into the internal hard drive and select that image when you need to duplicate it. You can also use any of the DVD/RW drives as a source drive if you need to make a quick DVD to DVD copy. With 160GB worth of hard drive space, you can store up to 18 full Dual Layer DVDs worth in the internal hard drive. Saves the lifespan of the reader rom and simple duplication from the hard drive with a touch of a button!

Why need USB?

USB is useful if your PC does not have a burner to make a copy of the master disc. Just connect your computer to the USB port of the duplicator where one of the burner will make a copy of the disc to get your started. The USB cannot connect to more than one drive and does not connect to the hard drive.
