This was a top of the line general coverage receiver for around $300.00. Although I don't have the box anymore, it is still brand new. It was pluged in one time to take a photo for eBay, but that was the only time. A outside antenna would be best to take full advantage of it's sensitivity. Freq. range is 0.15 - 30 MHz. The operating modes are LSB, USB, AM, CW. Power requirements are 120 vac, 13.8 vdc at 300mA. It has 160 memories in all. It has an audio filter of (900Hz) narrow band pass filter instead of a 2.0 kHz low pass filter. Some of the other features are, PLL, Large LCD display, five programmable timers, tape out jack, dual time, search tuning, memory tuning, direct access tuning, large rotary tuning adj., lock, MW step setting, RF gain control, memory backup, ATT switch, two antenna jacks, monitor memory, external speaker jack, headphones jack, and operating manual. With the weather being very nice, this would be the perfect time to get outside and put up your antenna so that you can hear all the foreign broadcast stations during the winter. This radio also comes with a set of kenwood HS-5 headphones 8 ohm not shown in photo. This is a total value of near $400.00. Sorry, no outside antenna.
