A Collector of vintage toys, advertising and many other types of items is starting to part out the collection. Some of these old items are amazing. Some still have the original boxes. These items are from the 40s, 50s, 60s and 70s. Most appear to be in magnificent condition. There are a wide variety of items. We are not experts on these items. We will take lots of pictures. Please ask questions and we will do our best to get the answers.
This is a very nice group of old Rosary beads. Seller thinks they came from Italy but we are not sure. There are 6 sets as follows:
Set 1-made of a blue cord like material-appears to be homemade and has 59 knots where the beads would be-length 17" and 1.5" Cross, there is no medal.
Set 2-made with silver type chain and 59 wooden oblong brown beads- the Medal says France on the back and Cross is 1.5"-length 19"
Set 3-made with silver type chain and 59 silver pearl like beads, has 2" cross and medal-length 19"
Set 4-made with silver like chain and 58 black oblong beads-all of the other sets have 5 beads before the medal and this set has 4, we believe one is missing. The back of the cross says Roma and is just less than 1.5"-length 18.75"
Set 5-made with silver like chain and 59 small blue oblong beads, and the back of the medal says Italy, cross 1"-length 16.50"
Set 6-made with a silver like chain. This set is the longest at just over 22" and the fanciest with 6 of the 59 pink pearl like beads having a silver filagree type covering. The medal looks more like brass or copper and also says Italy on the back, the cross is 2".
