Vintage 1970-71 Gibson J-50 Acoustic Guitar, as J-45

Up for sale is this beautiful 1970-71 vintage Gibson J-50 Acoustic Guitar with Ivoroid binding. It is totally original with the exception of Graphtech Ivory bridge made for this particular guitar. I have included the original adjustable bridge in the case which is also in great condition. There is the usual checking as shown in the pics, normal on a guitar of this age, but no cracks in the wood or repairs ever needed. The neck is straight and action set low. This guitar has been sitting in my mom's closet for 40 years and shows little use except for the weekly use in church for several years. Set up with Elixir light strings, it is a pleasure to play with a tone much brighter and with much more sustain that with the wood bridge. It has the original tuners and was never used as an electric, so no holes, only original endpin and string pins.  . They have been lubricated however the B string tuner is still a bit tight. The serial number is 957507 and "Made in USA" stamped on the back of the headstock. Included is and excellent quality hardshell case that looks new. Also Includes: extra set of strings and tuner.
