An ORIGINAL official Moscow Olympics poster, 1980, for Archery.

The posters designed for the Soviet Olympics were numerous; in total the Olympic committee selected 250 Olympic posters and printed a total edition of 18,750,000 copies. Both famous Russian artists and amateur art students work was selected.

Both men's individual and women's individual archery events were contested. For the first time in Olympic archery history, the woman's gold medalist outscored the men's. The USSR won Gold for the women, and Silver in both men and women's events. Finland won Gold in the mens and Bronze for the women. Italy won Bronze for the men.

24*18 inches, Some very light handling. Shipped rolled.
These posters were picked up in the Olympic village during the 1976 Montreal games. They are printed in Canada, " Official Poster of the Organizing Committee of the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow ... LithoCanada Fones & Mann Montreal"
