This is not a cheaply made back pack.  It's made of the highest quality materials.  It has two large exterior zippered pockets One Mest exterior water bottle pocket. One small cell phone/Key zippered pocket and one long skinny zippered pocket on strap.  Strap is heavily padded along with back of bag to insure the highest comfort possible. One of the exterior pockets has pockets sewn on the interior wall of the pocket for pencils note pads etc.  as well as a latch hook for carrying keys.  Interior pocket holds ipod/mp3 players with access for headphones.

Measures approx 17 x 19 x 6 at the widest points.
