Made from a very hard tool steel (A2) and heat treated to 64 Rockwell so that the edges will not dull by using these on your golf clubs.

There are two ends, a "U" end, and a "V" end, both approved by the USGA, and both ends set to standards set by the USGA, and is designed to work with the grooves of any major brand of golf club.

The Backspin Buddy (TM) comes with rubber end caps. The Backspin Buddy (TM) was designed so that you could determine which end, whether it would be the "U’ or "V" you are getting without having to remove the caps first. The "U" and "V" ends are identified on BOTH sides of the Backspin Buddy (TM) for ease of use. Some sellers use camera tricks to produce pictures with the endcaps barely hanging on the tool to make you think you are getting a tool where you can see the "U" designation and "V" designation. Don’t fall for such tomfoolery.

The Backspin Buddy (TM) is also one of the larger golf club groove sharpeners on the market. There are several designs in the marketplace in both retail stores and on eBay, however, many of the designs were small and more difficult to use, or have other features that I personally wasn’t interested in. 1. How fast will you ship my Backspin Buddy (TM)?

I ship virtually immediately. I have mail that goes out twice per day, once early, once late. So your item ships fast, guaranteed.

2. I did not hear from you after the auction, did you get my payment?

If you completed eBay checkout, then the answer is YES! When you buy a Backspin Buddy (TM) from me, you paid through PayPal. You should have received a receipt of payment. If you have a record on your PayPal or a receipt from PayPal in the form of an automated email, I received your payment.

Also, I do not email ANYONE that I 1) received payment or 2) shipped the item, just to notify them that either occurred. My auction terms tell you how fast I ship, and PayPal sends you an email for a receipt of payment. For the volume of auctions that I conduct, I simply lack the time to send such emails.

However, I pride myself in answering EACH and EVERY email inquiry in a very timely fashion, even emails that ask questions that are answered in my auctions. You trust sellers on eBay to provide you with a quality product for your hard-earned money, the least sellers on eBay can do is answer inquiries from someone who bought something from them.

Most likely, YES! Each and every Backspin Buddy (TM) produced works on grooves that are practically universally used by major golf club manufacturers. Feel free to inquire if you are uncertain.

4. More than one tool is pictured. How many tools do I get?

Yes, more than one tool is pictured. That is for informational purposes only. You get one tool with two total end caps, one on each end, for $19.99. Feel free to change the quantity for more tools, however. We’ll make more.

One last thing.

Some of the competitors make claims that their tool is the "only" tool to sharpen grooves on a golf club. This is not true and is indeed patently absurd. Generally, grooves are the same from brand to brand, and vary somewhat between wedges and irons. Its like buying a screwdriver. Many people make screwdrivers, and it would be obnoxious for any of them to claim that their product turned a screw better than any other screwdriver. These sellers know that they are not the "only" tool to sharpen grooves, and such claims are made in bad faith and desperation.

Also, some of the competitors make claims that others "failed" in their effort to make a quality golf club groove sharpener. I couldn't believe that the word "failed" was actually used. Obviously, this seller is only fooling himself. As we all know, this is not true. Again, this would be like a company making screwdrivers claiming that everyone else who made a similar screwdriver failed. It is an obnoxious claim and again a claim made in bad faith.

Finally, some of the competitors make claims that they were the "first" groove sharpener on the market, and that everyone else is an "imitator". Big deal. That would be like McDonalds claiming that they were the first to make hamburgers for drive thru customers. So what? Who cares? Does being the "first" mean you are the best? Clearly not. You can only invent the wheel so many times. After that, its left to others to expand on and improve the product. Don’t let such marketing gimmicks win you over. The Backspin Buddy (TM) is the best golf groove sharpener on the market, period, and this is because of design features that make it better. We'll let the others make claims to be better for trivial, irrelevant considerations.
