This beautiful hand-coiled Serving Bowl, made by the well known important artist Sofia Medina(great-daughter-in-law of Trinidad Medina) which taught her the art of pottery making!! Sofia is advancing in age and is not producing very many pieces at this time ! Here is an opportunity to acquire a piece of Native American art which will only increase in value.Sofia Received a Lifetime Achievement Award from SWAIA In June 2009 for integrity and excellence in her Artistry of pottery making  !!!

This Magnificent Serving Bowl measures approximately 4 " inches high x approximately 8 1/4" inches in diameter. We picked up this piece in Zia Pueblo from the Medina Family back in the 1980,s. It is signed Sofia Medina Zia on Bottom in pen or marker (LOOK AT PICTURES).

This piece from Zia is Natural Pigment painted with 3 different colors (also known as a Polychrome) using yucca instead of a brush  and is designed with a traditional tribal motif !! It is in Good solid condition no chips or cracks.
