Beginning with Shakespeare's verse "All the World's A Stage". Followed by seven full page photogravures with facing verse: The Infant, R.S. Church; The School Boy, William St. John Harper; The Lover, Thomas Hovenden; The Soldier, Gilbert Gaul; The Justice, A.B. Frost; The Lean and Slippered Pantaloon, W.T.
