is the practice of choice of top collectors and museums for conserving and maintaining the wonderful vintage ephemera, posters, and prints that otherwise would be lost due to their natural deterioration. Just like magazines, advertising posters, and periodicals of today, these wonderful graphics and images were, for the most part, not designed to last forever. They were, as the name implies, ephemeral! Linenbacking is a process whereby the print is carefully cleaned, and then mounted on acid free paper over linen, this is a reversible conservation process that stabilizes, consolidates, and preserves these collectible investments for decades perhaps even centuries to come.
