GOLDMINE grading standards used.
MINT (M) Absolutely perfect in every way.
Near Mint (M-) A nearly perfect record. The record shows no obvious sign of wear. The vinyl or sleeve should have at the most a very minor defect.
Very Good Plus,Plus(VG++)Not quite a near mint or a VG+.
Very Good Plus (VG+) Worth 1/2 the value of near mint. A VG+ will show signs of being played and handled. The vinyl will show signs of surface wear it may have scuffs or light scratches that don't affect the listening experience. They may have slight warps that do not affect the sound.
The label or picture sleeve may have light ringwear or discoloration. P.S. might have a turned up corner or a slight seam split.
Very Good (VG) Many of the defects found in a VG+ record will be more pronounced in a VG record.Surface noise will be evident when playing, especially in soft passages and during a songs intro and fade as well as between the tracks. The noise should not overpower the music.
Groove wear will start to be noticeable,as will light scratches (deep enough to feel with a finger nail) that will affect the sound.
Labels may have writing,or tape or stickers (or their residue)attached. The same will be true of picture sleeves.A VG record should have no more than 2 or 3 of these problems at the same time.Regardless of defects found in VG vinyl it is an inexpensive alternative to a NM copy.A VG record is a desirable addition for many collectors.
Good (G), Good Plus (GD+) Will have any one or more of the above listed defects. Either one can be played on a turntable without skipping. It will have significant surface noise and scratches as well as visible groove wear.
A sleeve will have seam splits.Tape, writing, ring wear or other defects will be much more pronounced.
Poor (P),Fair (F) Can be cracked, warped won't play through without skipping or repeating. The picture sleeve is water damaged ,split on all 3 sides or heavily laden with with wear or writing. These would only be sought after if they are extremely rare and held until a better copy comes along.
All shipping charges are USPS accurate. I do not exploit my buyers by trying to make a profit on shipping charges. I will try to get you the lowest shipping rate available, unless you desire otherwise.
International buyers beware: You are subject to your country's customs DUTY & ENTRY fees. This has nothing to do with shipping charges.
Packaging is done in the most efficient manner to insure your items are safe & secure. All LP'S come in a individual poly-bag,bubble-wrapped, than placed in a record mailer carton with invoice. I pack the way I would like to receive them.Shipping is done immediately.
Last, I always iniate feedback. Please be fair in your assessment . The records are graded according to collector standards, not brand new store purchased.
