Lovely illustration from the Children's classic by the much loved, Margaret Tarrant, a prolific English illustrator and friend of Cicely Mary Barker. She was popular during the 1920’s and 1930’s for her romantic depiction of children, fairies and animals.

All mounts are hand cut to fit individual print measurements.

Very Good - Very Slight Marking There is some slight marking caused by fingering and some slight spotting to the print which can only be seen if held to the light This is hardly noticeable and does not detract from the beauty of the print.

Please Note: The watermark in the bottom right hand corner of the image does not appear on the print itself.

A Note on condition: Minor imperfections are to be expected from antique prints due to their age. Often these do not affect the appearance of the print. Any blemishes that are noteworthy are fully described and shown in the scans where possible.
