This listing has ended. Item:Vintage PIPER PAWNEE Scale Cropduster Model Plane Plan |
|
|
Don Mowrer designed a really nice u-control scale model of the famous PIPER PAWNEE crop duster. It appeared in Model Airplane News in 1961 and calls for a throttled .29 engine. It would look great to make a working hopper and drop talcum powder on your friends at the flying circle. I include a copy of the construction article from Model Airplane News. The picture of a PAWNEE at Chicago O'Hare was taken 40 years ago during an experiment using the PAWNEE to make low passes over the runways and spray a compound to melt ice and snow from the runways. YOU ARE PURCHASING A NICE FULL-SIZE WHITE COPY OF THE MAN PLANS AND THE MAGAZINE CONSTRUCTION ARTICLE, FOLDED AND IN A MANILLA ENVELOPE. Yes, I combine postage on multiple orders. For multiple orders please wait for me to invoice you before paying. I gladly ship overseas to PayPal customers. |
