This is a limited edition pair of Converse Jack Purcell Shoes featuring originally designed fabric from 20th century modern design legend Lucienne Day. Each shoe comes with a numbered tag 1 of 500, 2 or 500, etc. Lucienne Day and her husband Robin electrified the British design scene in the 1950’s, leaving a profound influence on design in the 20th century. She pioneered the use of abstract pattern in the textile industry creating a revolution of contemporary visual language in fabric design.
