LOT 28 SCIENCE FAIR PROJECT / EXPERIMENT BOOKS Almost anything can be a science fair project and these books show children how. The learning never ends! 31 books with a wide variety of ideas for science projects to enhance the classroom experience and/or use for science fairs. They cover a wide range of topics and would be excellent for a classroom, home reference, or home school of elementary or middle school age children. Most of the books are in good to very good condition. Any excessive wear is noted below after the titles. The book covers have been wiped clean. Titles Included:

Plus, amazing facts about wind and windy weather can be found in this book. 6. Simple Science Experiments With Everyday Materials by Muriel Mandell (the cover of this book is in poor condition). Book includes instructions for ninety-nine simple experiments that demonstrate basic scientific principles. A brief history of the materials and some facts about them introduce the series of experiments. For example, ‘Clutching at straws’ explains straws, shows how to make one, and then demonstrates such principles as air pressure, water refraction, and center of gravity. By Susan Devins. Includes fun facts on bubble gum and directions to make your own. 11. Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Weird Science. Did you know that listening to elevator music might stop you from getting a cold or that scientists looking for a cure for baldness grew hair in a test tube? 12. L. Pearce. Why does an ice cube float in water? How can you separate salt and pepper once they’re mixed? Why don’t bridges collapse? 19. Science Fun With Mud and Dirt by Rose Wyler. Learn about the different types of soil, where they come from, insects and animals that live underground and much more. 20.
