Vintage New World Series School Map of the World


Recently found in the attic of an old one room schoolhouse in northwest New Jersey is this great circa 1910 map of the world. Map measures 51 1/2 inches X 40 inches opened and 17 inches x 19 3/4" folded. Map is paper on canvas with original brass grommet hanging holes. Map is The New World Series School Map of the World, produced by The American Geographical Institute, New York, NY. Map shows principal railways and principal water routes (distance in nautical miles). Map is in very good condition with expected (map is almost 100 years old) light soiling and toning. This map is one of 9 old school maps found in the old one room schoolhouse attic. It is shown in the last photo below with the others maps, all of which I currently have listed.
