$$$Special Shipping for This Item$$$: This table/board is large enough and heavy enough to be a shipping nightmare. Even the box it requires weighs almost 2 pounds and costs almost $3.00! We have estimated shipping through the Post Office and through FedEx Ground, and it's pretty horrendous. SO, in a departure from our usual practice, we're offering flat rate shipping anywhere in the lower 48 states, by our choice of USPS or FedEx Ground, for $25.00. This leaves us "absorbing" some of the cost for most zip codes, but if the winner turns out to be nearby, we will issue a refund for any substantial overpayment.
When something like this item turns up at an estate sale, I almost jump for joy. I sell such a wide range of things, but masterpieces like this are my specialty. It is such a joy to write about something that someone has put so much love into. I find it astounding that the previous owners let it get out of the family, but I'm glad to be able to present it to you.

In case I have left something out, don't ever hesitate to ask questions. We are more than happy to answer them, and usually manage to do so very quickly.
One thing I noted on some, but not all, of the pictures: The chess set in the photographs is not included. If you are interested in it, please let me know. I plan to auction it soon.
We put shipping insurance on EVERYTHING we ship--at NO COST to YOU! We offer Parcel Post shipping on everything to which it applies because sometimes it will save you money. It is a LOT more trouble to offer Parcel Post--the Post Office doesn't furnish free boxes!--but our buyers are WORTH IT!
Our Combined Shipping Policy: Nobody works harder at saving you money on shipping and insurance than we do for single items, and when you purchase more than one article from us, forget about a measly discount policy! We (99.5% of the time) can package your items together in one box, and then find the least expensive but safe way to ship that package to you.
One more thing: Local pickup is ALWAYS welcome, but please bring any packing materials you will need to get your winnings safely home. We don't pack items that we don't ship.
