THERE IS A LARGE DIAMOND IN THE CENTER AND 16 OTHER DIAMONDS ON THE OUTER EDGE. ALL DIAMONDS ARE PRONG SET. THE GOLD CONTENT HAS BEEN TESTED AND VERIFIED AT 14K AND THE DIAMONDS PRESENT MAGNIFICENTLY. THIS EXCEPTIONAL PIECE OF JEWELRY IS IN GREAT CONDITION AND CAN BE WORN AS A BROOCH OR AS PENDANT FROM A CHAIN. THE LOOP ON THE TOP FOLDS DOWN WHEN USED AS A BROOCH AND WHEN RAISED IT WILL ACCEPT A CHAIN. I ACQUIRED THIS PIECE OF JEWELRY THROUGH A VERY UNUSUAL SITUATION. I HAVE BEEN ASKED NUMEROUS TIMES WHAT THE WEIGHT OF THE DIAMONDS ARE. TO BE PERFECTLY HONEST WITH YOU, I DO NOT KNOW FOR SURE. JUST TODAY I TOOK THE PENDANT TO A JEWELER TO GET AN ANSWER TO THIS QUESTION. HE MEASURED THE STONES AND STATED THAT THE CENTER STONE HAD A VERY GOOD CUT AND WAS APPROX. 1/3 OF A CARAT AND THE OUTER STONES WERE APPROX. .10 CARAT. WHEN I DO THE MATH, I HAVE A COMBINED WEIGHT OF ABOUT 2 CARAT. THE JEWELED ALSO STATED " THE ONLY WAY TO DETERMINE THE ACCURATE CARAT WEIGHT WAS TO REMOVE THE STONES AND WEIGH THEM. THIS IS SOMETHING I DID NOT WANT TO DO. AS STATED EARLIER, I AM NOT CERTAIN AS TO THE COMBINED TOTAL WEIGHT OF THE DIAMONDS.
