DESCRIPTION

This auction is for an unusual vintage lead squirrel from the Wild animal series which was made by J.Hill&Co in England c.1930's together with a fallen tree No.525 which was made by Britains c.1930's/40's. The squirrel has a long bushy tail and can be stood up on his tail so it looks like he is sitting up feeding. The figures are both approximately standard 54mm scale painted lead.

The fallen tree and the squirrel are in good original condition with some paint loss which is commensurate with their age but otherwise they are good and they stand and display well. A couple of lovely vintage lead farm figures for your collection.........well worth a bid.
