This recorder is brand-new and has never been taken out of the package.  

This new Sony voice recorder is intended to capture stereo sound from important lectures, seminars,meetings and even interviews  Sony’s ICD-SX700 Digital Voice Recorder allows you to set up five voice folders so you can easily store your files in an organized fashion. It has 1 GB of memory, to allow the player to hold up to 372 hours recording time (8 hours in MP3 mode) and offers 7 different recording modes.  

There are a magnitude of features:

It is compatible with Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional operating systems and later versions and Dragon Naturally Speaking Voice to Print Recognition software. For added convenience. It also comes with an optional AC adapter and only weighs 2 ounces.  This Sony pocket-size recorder is the ultimate in portability.
