This book is in very good condition. It has some crinkling of the cover. The pages are clean and unmarked. It has a cover price of $8.95. It was printed in 2001 by Chess Enterprises. 123 pages. Robert Brieger and R.W. Twombly are indeed searching for Zugzwang, or rather, for true Zugzwang. But they also make a point that much of what's been written about it is just plain wrong. Most players, masters as well as amateurs, don't take much notice of the difference between Zugzwang and the impostor the authors call a "Squeeze". In fact, you could argue the world is divided into two groups of player - those who haven't a clue as to what Zugzwang is and those who do and get it wrong. If you enjoy endgames as an art form, you should find a lot to think about in this book. I combine shipping costs if you buy more than one item.
