This book is in very good condition.  It has some shelfwear on the front cover.  The pages are clean and unmarked.   It was printed in 1998 by Cadogan.  128 pages.  The authors are Eduard Gufeld & Oleg Stetsko.

The Smyslov Variation of the Caro-Kann is one of the most solid and dependable openings for Black.  It is a favorite of many top players, including Anatoly Karpov and Michael Adams, both of whom have used the system to defeat many top-class opponents.
