Offered for sale is the novel Once to Every Man  by Larry Evans.  Published by H. K. Fly Company, 1914, 1st Edition.  This book features 4 very nice Illustrations by Anton Otto Fischer.

This novel was made into a silent movie in 1925.  Directed by John Ford it was renamed The Fighting Heart.  Small town drama involving boxing and a young man's desire to rise above his troubled and humble origins.

This is hardcover book with dark green boards.  Fc has title and image of a small cabin in the woods all stamped in gilt. Book measures 7 3/4" x 5 1/4", 317 pages + 3 pages of adverts.

This book is in Very Good Condition.  Light staining of page edges and foxing of title page.  Hint of shelfwear.
