LLADRO FIGURINE, "SPECIAL GIFT" 6228 ~ STORK CARRYING BABY BOY

LEG NEEDS REPAIR

This is an absolutely charming Lladro figurine called A Special Gift and numbered 6228.  It features a stork standing on a rooftop chimney with a baby boy (at least he's in a blue blanket) in his bill.  The detail here is very fine and it's a delightful 10" tall piece. 

Sadly, this stork is in need of repair to his right leg, which has snapped off cleanly.  I have the broken piece and it should be a simple matter of carefully gluing it back on. There are no other chips or problems.  The base has some brown residue from florist's clay the former owner used to prevent falls, but this is on the underside and does not show.  The piece is marked by Lladro with the number 6228 stamped.  I do not have the box for this beautiful piece that needs just a dab of TLC.
