Disney Little Pig's Picnic & Other Stories M Brown 1939

 "Little Pig's Picnic and Other Stories" by Margaret Wise Brown and illustrated by The Walt Disney Studio was published by D. C. Heath and Company, Boston with a copyright date of 1939; I believe it to be a first edition. This 107-page book has great color drawings throughout this entire book filled with great stories. There are 10 stories titled: The Little Pig's Picnic; The Barnyard Song The Lonely Little Colt; The Ugly Duckling; Pluto's Chicks; Pluto's Kitten; The Grasshopper and the Ants; The Orphan Kittens; The Flying Mouse; and The Old Mill. It measures 6 1/4" x 8 1/2" and is in good condition for its age of 70 years and being a school library book. It has a nice color illustrated cloth cover which has slight wear; it has an old small tape mark on the spine probably from a library mark. The inside pages are tight to the spine with no rips, creases or marks and the color drawings still vivid and bright. The library marks are a stamp on the title page and remnants of a paper taped on the back endpage. This is a great book for a child to read and enjoy. Please contact me with any questions.
