Antique Kazvin Oriental Rug 12.3' x 8.10' 65+ years old

This rug was bought by my grandfather at an estate sale in Massachusetts in 1944.  It is 65+ years old.  It was one of many he bought to decorate his new home.  How long the estate owner had the rug is unknown.  It was given to my father and then to me.  It has rarely been used since my father had it and has spent most of its life being stored.  It is in excellent condition with no stains.  Original label showing its origin in Iran is still sewn to the bottom of the rug (see picture).  Email me with any questions.  Buyer responsible for shipping from Hendersonville, TN 37075.

KAZVIN Oriental Rug 12’.3” x 8’.10”

This rug has a large medallion in ivory, blues, reds and pinks, set into a small solid field of red. Around this field there is much garland in the same mixture of colors as the medallion. There are seven borders with the large border being ivory, all covered in the same colors.
