This interesting lot consists of an antique tin toy magic lantern projector and 11 of the original colored glass slides that go with it. The projector it about 10 1/2" tall x 8" long 2 3/4" wide and it marked with the winged tinplate "E.P. Germany" logo of the Ernest Plank Co. The toy is very well made and has ornate feet, a telescoping barrel, and the old glass lenses. There is a little wear and the oil lantern that was inside(not visible) is gone but what is there is in very good condition. The glass slides are about 6" long x 1 5/8" wide and have a little wear but over all they are in very good original condition and include a very nice one with sailing ships and one with a winter theme that has a very early image of Father Christmas. Ca. 1880s-1890s. Good luck!
