You are considering a quality Ethan Allen piece of furniture. This six-drawer chest measures 45" tall x 33-1/2" wide x 18-1/2" deep. I believe it is of at least partial cedar construction, as it still has a strong cedar smell after more than 50 years. This piece was purchased by my grandmother - I am guessing in the 50's. I remember it being in her home in the 1960's. Along with the engraved emblem in one of the drawers, it has the number 507 stamped on the back. It has the original drawer pulls and has never been completely re-finished. About 15 years ago, I stripped the top down - it was starting to look pretty rough. I did not do a professional job, but it does not look bad. I would think a buyer of this piece woud have it re-finished - but maybe not. It has a variety of scatches and what not in the finish, but is a VERY sound and well-built piece. I hate to part with it, but it has just been sitting in my basement for many years - storing a bunch of .....
