WONDERFUL CONDITION ON THIS SIX PIECE HO TRAIN SET WHICH IS IN WORKING CONDITION WITH A WINDUP LOCOMOTIVE. GREAT LINKING SET WITH ALL PIECES MARKED UNION PACIFIC WITH THE LOGO ON THE ENGINE ( SEE PHOTO 7 ) 2 PIECES MARKED " DENVER ". ONE WITH " OMAHA ", A FIFTH WITH " RAILWAY EXPRESS AGENCY " AND THE CABOOSE MARKED " SQUAW BONNET ". THE SQUAW BONNET PIECE HAS NO PIN TO LINK OTHER SECTIONS, SO I ASSUME IT TO BE THE CABOOSE. THIS ENTIRE SET WAS LEFT TO MY NIECE BY MY BROTHER IN LAW WHO APPARENTLY PLAYED WITH IT IN THE 1940S. I KNOW NOTHING OF THE DATING ON THIS PIECE OTHER THAN THE ORIGINAL MARKS WHICH STATE " MARX TOYS AMERICAN MADE " ( SEE PHOTO 4 ). PHOTOS 2 AND 3 ARE THE SAME PIECES OPPOSITE SIDES, WHILE PHOTOS 5 AND 6 ARE THE SAME WITH OPPOSITE SIDES. CONDITION APPEARS EXCELLENT ON TRAINS, NO MAJOR DENTS, ALL ORIGINAL PAINT IN A CO-ORDINATED YELLOW RED BROWN WITH SOME LIGHT SCRATCHES, THOUGH FIGURING THE AGE TO BE AN EASY 70 YEARS OLD AND USED, IT REALLY IS MINOR, TRACKS ARE 24 PIECES WITH 8 STRAIGHT 16 CURVED, DID NOT LINK THEM AS THERE IS A PIN OR TWO MISSING. QUESTIONS ARE WELCOME AND POSTED. ONCE THIS PIECE OPENS IT SELLS WITH NO RESERVE. BID ACCORDINGLY!!!
