U.S.S. NAUTILUS SSN #571 DESK TOP DISPLAY MODEL SIGNED

Presented is a historical autographed display model of the world's first nuclear powered submarine the U.S.S. Nautilus SSN 571. The Nautilus was also the first submarine to to complete a submerge transit across the north pole. This is truely an item for the serious collector of RARE autographed historical items and something that no naval display or museum should be without.

This desk top display model is a 1/150 scale highly detailed and ultra high quality reproduction of the Nautilus and is signed by the first Commanding Officer of #571 Eugene P. Wilkinson, VAdm, U.S.N.

The Nautilus is hand crafted from plastic resin and metal detail parts and comes mounted on a fine natural finished mahogany wood display base. The base has an engraved brass name plate attached and also an information plate that is personally signed by VAdm Wilkinson.

This Nautilus is # 8 in the series signed by VAdm Wilkinson and includes a certificate of authenticity. The certificate contains information that describes the 571 and the Admiral.
