Sager 5600P P4 2.40Ghz 1GB/40GB DVD/CDRW LAPTOP

I received this laptop in a shipment of used laptops. I recieved it without an ac adapter. To test it I hooked it up to a test ac adapter and the laptop booted up just fine to a real time clock error and prompted me to go to setup and set the time. I did that and then rebooted the laptop with a bootable cd in the dvd/cdrw drive and was able to boot to that. I put a bootable floppy disk in the floppy drive, rebooted and was able to boot to that. After those tests I unhooked the ac adapter and removed the battery, the reinstalled the battery and hooked it back up to an ac adpter and again it booted to a real time clock error so the CMOS battery need to be replaced. That was the extent of my testing, no further tests were performed. Model 5600P. Has a win2000 Pro edition COA sticker on the bottom, disk not included. Actual picture of laptop above and below.

*15" LCD Display, Good shape.
*40GB Hard drive included, wiped clean. Will need to be formatted and an OS loaded to be operational. Since I have done neither the drive is sold untested with no guarantees.
*Ports: 4 USB, 1394, , ethernet, modem, ext. monitor, parallel, 1-PCMCIA slot, PS2,S-Video
*Floppy Drive Included-I was able to boot to it using a bootable floppy disk.
*Combo DVD/CDRW drive included, I was able to boot to it, otherwise untested.
*TouchPad Mouse
* Sound
* AC Adapter Not INCLUDED, calls for 20V, 6A. Its a circular end with 4 pins. I only have one and need to keep it for testing.
*Battery is included, NOT Holding a charge, bad.
*Case is in overall good used shape. A couple things to point out. On the top/lid near each rear corner there is a super fine stress crack in the plastic, hardly noticable. Most likely from hinge operation over time. Some keyboard keys and touchpad are a bit polished from previous use.
